If your very own brother, or your son or daughter, or the wife you love, or your closest friend secretly entices you, saying, "Let us go and worship other gods", ... do not yield to him or listen to him. This just kind of opened my eyes a little more to how serious God is about His people not worshiping idols and other gods. Even if your wife or your children do it... put them to death. Obviously, we are under the New Covenant, and this is not to be applied to us now (literally, anyway), but it shows how jealous God is for our hearts. He will not share us with anyone or anything else.
Oh, I pray I will never turn from the one true God!
